Camp Rules

Rules and Kids Code of Conduct

Arrival / Departure Information
In order to ensure a smooth and safe arrival and departure process, we ask that parents adhere to the following:

  • An emergency release form for your child must be on file prior to the start of camp. Please be prompt at drop off and pick up.
  • Clearly label your child's belongings. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Leave toys at home (except for “show & tell” days). iPods, cell phones, or other electronic devices are not permitted. If these are brought to camp, the camper will be asked to leave them in their bag during the camp day.
  • At drop-off and pick-up, please be sure to sign your child in and out completely. Prior to coming to camp each day, be sure that sunscreen has been adequately applied to your child.
  • Dress your child in comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. For safety reasons, campers wearing sandals, slides, or any other non-athletic shoes will not be permitted to participate in all the activities.
  • Let us know if someone else is picking up your child. Make sure they are prepared to show ID.
  • Let us know of any dietary restrictions or special instructions for your child.
  • Keep your child at home if they are showing any signs of cold or illness.

Camper Dismissal
A camper may be dismissed due to issues that preclude the child from participating safely or effectively in a group. Dismissal will take effect only after a discussion among the parents, camper, and camp director. Dismissal for the aforementioned reasons may result in a partial refund for the unused days.

On occasion, dismissal may be necessary for disciplinary reasons. This action will take effect only after consultation among the parents, camper, and the camp director. If a camper is dismissed for disciplinary reasons, there will be no refunds for the unused days.

Camper Behavior Policy and Code of Conduct
Our camp counselors and junior counselors are here to make this a great summer for all our campers. We strive to promote consistent expectations regarding behavior among all our campers, and ask that parent review the following guidelines with their children before camps.

I will:

  • Keep my hands and feet to myself.
  • Remember to say "Please" and "Thank you"
  • Walk quietly through the Club.
  • Be helpful.
  • Listen when counselors/campers are speaking. Instead of interrupting when someone is speaking, please raise your hand or wait for your turn to speak.
  • Follow directions.
  • Be kind and considerate of your fellow campers. Physical / verbal violence or inappropriate language will not be tolerated.
  • Be respectful of the Club and camp areas—no littering!
  • Please don’t touch equipment until your counselor gives the signal.
  • Stay with your group. If you would like to use the bathroom, please ask your group leader or junior counselor.
  • Be a good sport—everyone wins at Camp!
  • Have fun!

Camp-Specific Rules
Once you have enrolled in a camp or program, you may receive additional information regarding rules and procedures that are specific to that particular camp. We ask that you familiarize yourself with—and adhere to—this information as well. Thank you.
